Counseling works to help out when life is beating you up. The lists that keep growing without the items being checked off, the overwhelming responsibilities of “adulting,” or feeling completely drained that you have nothing left for yourself. When you’re just dealing with this, it feels like you’re just floating through life, things happening to you instead of you controlling your own path.
