Counseling for Young Adults

You wonder if life is supposed to be this demanding.

Or if you’re ever going to find the time to enjoy the experiences around you, to be the person you truly want to be.

You’re craving the next big thing. A life that feels worth living to it’s fullest. One that’s shared with friends and loved ones. You knew that being an adult would have it’s own challenges, making sure everyone else’s needs are fulfilled and still have time for you, your passions and the things that bring you joy and peace. Your time is full of other demands and it’s always a life on the move.

When you look in the mirror, you see exhaustion and dreams unfulfilled. You move on, new things happen every day, but they’re hard to recognize through the daily grind you may not have been prepared for.

How we help

Counseling offers a safe space to explore the things in your life that are not working for you. It’s a healthy and self-caring way to work on yourself and learn how to handle your thoughts and feelings. It’s a place to bring together your relationships and that work-life balance you crave. Together we look at what’s holding you back from creating the life you seek and how to make changes to get it. We’ll work to help you manage the symptoms that are creating distress in your life, whether it’s anxiety, depression, or struggles in your relationships.

Counseling works to help out when life is beating you up. The lists that keep growing without the items being checked off, the overwhelming responsibilities of “adulting,” or feeling completely drained that you have nothing left for yourself. When you’re just dealing with this, it feels like you’re just floating through life, things happening to you instead of you controlling your own path.

The reality is that you can find a way to manage all of this. Just like most people, you weren’t born with the knowledge of how to handle everything. You’ll learn to slow down and enjoy the small joys in your life, all you need is a little guidance.
